Fur, sabotage at mink farm, action group unknown
– Somewhere in the year 2000, activists decided to go back to a mink farmer in Herveld for the fact that animals are used in the company to make a profit. Sabotage was carried out at the new house.

2000-01-09 (Asten)
Intensive farming, arson at slaughterhouse Van Kemenade, ALF
– On Sunday morning of January 9th, activists tried to set fire in the Van Kemenade slaughterhouse in Asten. The fire has only caused some smoke damage and destroyed heating geysers. Gasoline is poured in through a venting tube on the roof. The action is dedicated to Arild Eriksen and Aaron Rudra. Two activists who are being held in prison for arson in Norway.

Intensive farming, (fake)bomb at McDonalds, R. DBF (ALF)
– The “Radical Animal Liberation Front” placed a fake bomb at McDonalds in Joure to make a statement against McDonalds. On Friday evening at quarter past 10 the package was found and the police had it examined. The action was claimed at the Leeuwarder Courant.

Intensive farming, threat at McDonalds, ALF
– With the signature of the “ALF” (Animal Liberation Front), a letter was sent to the Leeuwarder Courant stating that one of these days a “letter with unknown content” would be delivered to McDonalds in Joure. In response, Mc Donalds says that they will triple the surveillance of the restaurant.

Various targets, bomb threat, ALF
– Over a period of two days there have been bomb threats at various places which seem to sent from the same person. It concerns two McDonald’s branches in Waalwijk and Oosterhout (both are evacuated), a Kijkshop branch in Breda (the store was closed soon) and a furniture store in Dongen which was told that there would be a bomb in the parking lot. The parking lot was examined and the shoppers had to stay in the store temporarily. In all reports this was done by an English speaking man, by telephone.

Intensive farming, arson at Slotman and v/d Vecht, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front claims the arson of a cattle transport company in Heino. Three cars burned out completely while four others suffered significant damage. The activists had to postpone their action earlier because there were still animals present. They dedicate the action to Aaron Rudra and Arild Eriksen. Both are stuck in Norway for arson at a meat trade.

Intensive farming, threats at various companies, action group unknown
– Three cattle farmers have received threatening letters in which they mention activists who found that the housing of calves leaves much to be desired and that the fire at a cattle transport company earlier this month was only the beginning.

2000-02-28 (Putten)
Fur, liberation at mink farm, ALF
– In the night of February 27th to 28th, 2000, activists dug out part of the fence and removed it at a mink farm on the Halvinkerhuizerweg in Putten. The gate has also been opened and slogans have been sprayed. Then about 2000/3000 minks have been released, about 94% of the cages have been opened. The breeding data has been taken and tools have been stolen or destroyed.

Fur, liberation at mink farm Hissink, ALF
– In the night of March 2nd to 3rd, ALF activists thought it was “a great night to visit our friend Hissink in Barchem”. Also here 2000 to 3000 minks are liberated after a part of the fence has been removed.

Intensive farming, bomb threat at McDonalds, R. DBF (ALF)
– The regional Omrop Fryslân has received a letter with a bomb threat. It stated that a bomb would explode at the McDonalds site in Leeuwarden. The action was claimed by the Radical Animal Liberation Front.

2000-05-07 (Den Oever)
Intensive farming, arson at fish wholesale Kaan, ALF
– Four trucks from fish wholesale Kaan have been destroyed by arson. The damage runs in tons. The Animal Liberation Front claims the action after a month. The activists attempted to claim the action through the regular media, but they didn’t mention it.

Fur, bomb threat at Van Heusden, ALF
– ‘’Het Nieuwsblad van het Noorden’’ received a letter from the Animal Liberation Front (signed with “ALF”) in which a bomb threat was issued about a shop that would sell fur. The store is from Heusden. Last year, four of his windows were smashed and the text in the letter composed of snippets leaves little ambiguity; “Fur = Murder! Bomb for van Heusden! ALF”

Intensive farming, arson at food producer Meneba, action group unknown
– At food producer Meneba, two trucks went up in flames. One third was damaged. Meneba makes, among other things, cattle feed.

2000-06-18 (Ermelo)
Intensive farming, arson at Brinky Poultry Trading, ALF
– For the second time in a year, activists visited this company. One of the company’s trucks burned down and another was damaged. The company would also have been slightly damaged by the fire. The Animal Liberation Front claimed the action by a letter composed of snippet letters.

2000-08-06 (Barchem)
Intensive farming at Hissink Farm, ALF
– Two barns at mink farm Hissink set on fire and both burned down to the ground. During a preliminary investigation, the activists had seen these barns contained many machines where minks can be killed and skinned. Also the cupboard which the security (power wires) of the farm contained, was present. The action was claimed by the Tony Humphries Commando of the Animal Liberation Front.

2000-08-07 (Barchem)
Intensive farming, liberation at Hissink Farm, ALF
– After two barns were burnt down, the activists of the Tony Humphries Command from the Animal Liberation Front decided to return no less than 24 hours later. The security system was now inactive and the activists were free to do what they want. A part of the fence was destroyed and about 1000 minks could run away, which caused a totally trashed mink farm.

Intensive farming, liberation at the Hollander, ALF
– At mink farm de Hollander in Nootdorp, 2500 minks were released after activists destroyed the fence and cages. For the second time in a year and a half, the mink farm was visited overnight.

Circus, sabotage at circus Knie, action group unknown
– Activists expressed their dissatisfaction with using animals in circuses by smearing the wagons of circus Knie in The Hague, at the Malieveld.

2000-09-17 (Rotterdam)
Intensive farming, arson at Randstad Vleesgroothandel, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front set fire at Randstad Meat wholesale in Rotterdam. Three delivery vans as well as three containers were destroyed by the fire around 4:20 am where the side wall of the company suffered minor damage. The activists emerged from the terrain by cutting a hole in the fence.

Intensive farming, liberation at mink farm, action group unknown
– Hundreds of minks are released by strangers on the night of Tuesday 31 October. The cages were opened on Wednesday 1 November at a fur farm in Vredepeel.

Intensive farming, liberation at the Hollander, action group unknown
– Several hundred minks have been liberated by activists from the mink farm de Hollander. The farm closes its doors.

2000-12-10 (Roosendaal)
Intensive farming, arson at Van Der Horst, ALF
– A van from meat company van der Horst burnt out where a second one was damaged from arson by activists from the Animal Liberation Front. The action, in which the site was entered by cutting a hole in the fence, is dedicated to the two Dutchmen who are held in prison in Denmark for mink liberation. The trucks were covered with petrol and connected by a piece of cloth before they were lit.

Animal testing, attempt to liberation at MPRC, ARM
– Activists of the Animal Rights Militia tried to liberate monkeys at the BPRC (Biomedical Primate Research Centre). When the activists investigated the left part (where slogans were sprayed) they met some guards with a dog. After this, the action was called off and the activists searched a safe haven.

Animal testing, occupation at TNO, ALF
– The entrance gate and the door of TNO have been destroyed, after an occupation has taken place. The RID (Regional Intelligence Service) says the activists are part of the Animal Liberation Front.

Vermit destruction, liberation of muskrat, action group unknown
– About 10 muskrat cages have been destroyed. In one of the cages a young muskrat was found and released again.

2001-02-04 (Ven-Zelderheide)
Intensive farming, sabotage at mink farm, ALF
– Activists from the German Animal Liberation Front, the TierBefreiungsFront, destroyed about 600 new cages in a mink farm. To get to the cages, the activists have bypassed the alarm system.

Vermit destruction, sabotage of muskrat cages, action group unknown
– From the polders of the municipalities of Vlist and Ouderkerk about 100 clips were removed which were meant to catch musk rats. In addition, a large number of cages and clamps have also been destroyed.

Intensive farming, arson at Dumeco, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front set fire at Dumeco. Because of the fire, the cutting hall and expedition have been shut down and the slaughterhouse, 24% burned down , has been closed for at least half a year. In addition, there are tens of millions of guilders of damage. The activists state: “In this way we force the meat industry to stop its criminal practices”.

Intensive farming, arson at Ballering BV, ALF
– Two trucks, parked at the Ballering slaughterhouse on the Ekkersrijt industrial estate, burnt down by an action of the Animal Liberation Front. The two (new) trucks were loaded with pork. In the claim letter, the ALF described the aim of destroying the entire butcher’s shop, where 4000 pigs are slaughtered on a weekly basis.

Intensive farming, liberation at Van Schaijk breeding, action group unknown
– Two thousand minks have chance of freedom after strangers have opened the cages. The perpetrator(s) seems to have been disturbed when a cattle feed truck arrived at 1 am. The owner was warned and through a force of “contingency plan” (where mink farmers warn each other when a liberation has taken place), soon 25 people helped to catch as many minks as possible. A bicycle remained behind, presumably from the perpetrator/one of the perpetrators.

– Strangers provided dozens of circus signs with the text “Canceled due to animal cruelty”. The damage would be approximately 13,000 guilders.

Vermin destruction, sabotage of muskrat-catch cages, action group unknown
– Thanks to activists, muskrat-catchers in the vicinity of Ommen have ten cages less to use after July 31st.

Fur, sabotage at the Bontcouture, action group unknown
– Activists destroyed the banner of the Bontcouture, located on the Heiligeweg in Amsterdam, in protest against the use of fur.

– Once again, activists have struck the Bontcouture at the Heiligeweg where (again) the sign was destroyed.

Fur, sabotage at Alcon and Petter, ALF
– Buildings at the Rechtboomsloot and Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal (Alcon) saw their windows thrown in and the locks glued in protest against the use of fur. At the address on the Rechtboomsloot, “Petter” appears to have been established, but the telephone number is the same as that of Alcon, so it can be assumed that the two are connected.

– Did Alcon also got hit hard earlier this month, now they saw the locks glued again. The slogan “Fur is Murder!” was also sprayed.

Fur, sabotage at Edgar Vos, action group unknown
– Activists have smashed the windows of Edgar Vos in protest against the use of fur by this fashion designer. The activists used the appropriate sentence; “Get into action, contribute your own part!”.

Fur, sabotage at Alcon, action group unknown
– Just like an evening earlier, today, an action was taken again against Alcon. The locks were glued and the slogan “Fur is murder!” was left behind on the front.

Fur, sabotage at Petter, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front paid a visit to Petter. The windows were smashed in protest against the use of fur. In recent weeks, the ALF carried out a number of puncture actions under the motto: “Fur = Murder. It is war!”

Fur, sabotage at Alcon, action group unknown
– Once again activists came to Rechtboomsloot 53, the company that has the same phone number as Alcon and where Petter seems to be located. The windows were smashed.

2001-08-23 (Valkenswaard)
Intensive farming, liberation at Van Schaijk breeding, action group unknown
– A total of 16,800 minks were released this night from the breeding farm at Maastrichterweg 114 in an attempt to give the animals a chance for freedom. By destroying parts of the fence, holes of meters were created so the minks could leave the breeding farm. Several thousand minks have finally escaped.

– Just like in Nijmegen, there were also numbers of announcements/signs in Groningen with the text “Cancelled due to of animal cruelty“.

Fur, sabotage at Frans Molenaar, ALF
– Activists of the Animal Liberation Front smashed windows under the name “Big mouth Frans Molenaar” at the office of Frans Molenaar at the Oranje Nassaulaan. This because fashion designer Frans Molenaar (who already uses a lot of fur) had spoken in favor of fur and expressed negative opinions about activists.

– At the office of fashion store Pauw, located on the Europaplein, the slogan “Fur is Murder” was left behind.

2001-10-15 (Rijswijk)
Animal testing, bomb threat at the BPRC, action group unknown
– After earlier that day, activists shackled themselves to the entrance gate (and employees could only get to work with hours of delay) from the BPRC in Rijswijk, a bomb alert also took place. The company has to be completely evacuated , but the monkeys remain behind. No explosives were found so work could be resumed. The day will end with another action, this time peacefully/legally by 15 volunteers from action group “Citizens’ Initiative”.

– Animal activists pulled down a high seater to sabotage the hunt.

Animal testing, sabotage at house employee BPRC, action group unknown
– At the house of A. Thomas at Boomstraat 10 in Boskoop the windows were smashed by stones. The house was also covered with red paint.

Animal testing, liberation at Erasmus University, ALF
– In broad daylight, the Animal Liberation Front broke into the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. 9 mice and two rats were released. Photos were also taken of “discarded animals”.

– One night, 11 signs of the Great Russian State Circus were destroyed and plastered with the text “Animal Cruelty”. Tires were slashed in a truck , “ALF” was sprayed on the door of a trailer and a lock was glued.

– The Animal Liberation Front Supporters Group has received an anonymous e-mail stating that an action has taken place at the mink farm at Roeden 10 in Boelenslaan. However, it remained unknown what exactly happened and when.

Animal testing, sabotage at BPRC employee’s house, BB
– Action group “Angry Civilians” glued the front door of Mr. J. Heeney and smashed the large window of the living room. Mr. Heeney is head of Virology at the BPRC. The activists call to stop the activities at the BPRC, otherwise the actions will continue.

Intensive farming, sabotage at McDonalds, action group unknown
– During a protest of around 250 activists through the inner city of Amsterdam from the Animal Rights Gathering, an activist smashed the window of McDonalds. After this, the ME carried out charges.

Fur, sabotage at Frans Molenaar, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front glued three locks from the front door to the Oranje Nassaulaan 13. A window has also been shattered and another window has been damaged.

– They must have looked strange on the Bunzinglaan 13 when hundreds of minks were found that have been released from their cages by activists from the Animal Liberation Front. The animal liberators declare that every step of liberation is a step in the right direction.

– Frans Molenaar is not feeling lucky, especially since his statements about fur/activists. Again the Animal Liberation Front paid a visit. The tires of his car have been slashed and slogans have been applied with glass sets.

– The tires of Jonas Rabbie’s car were slashed and slogans applied with glass sets. Jonas Rabbie is the owner of the furcouture at the Heiligeweg.

– Fox cages were destroyed at the mink farm on Hazelbroek 1200. The breeding data have also been removed. The total damage amounts to € 137,000; a pretty big amount because the breeder is not insured.

– At BPRC employee Bert ‘t Hart, the lock of his house was glued and one of the car tires slashed. The activists’ demands were made clear by a sprayed-on slogan on the façade; “QUIT YOUR JOB”.

– Activists have failed to free minks from a fur farm in Lunteren on the Oude Woudsepad, because of guard dogs. However, the breeding data have been removed, which causes considerable damage.

Animal testing, sabotage at BPRC employee, ALF
– The Animal Liberation Front is targeting the employees of the BPRC. The supporters group of the ALF received a press statement from the ALF stating that the house and the “expensive sports car” of “BPRC scum” Margreet Jonker have been “trashed”.

– Activists from the Animal Liberation Front attempted in a smooth way to put down the telephone traffic of the BPRC. Two telephone cables have been cut. At the location, the letters ALF were left behind with stones.

Animal testing, sabotage at Marsh, action group unknown
– In the context of the campaign against Huntingdon Life Sciences, activists deployed stink bombs at Marsh (doing business with the HLS animal testing centre, where 500 animals die every day) in the name; “Marsh Stinks!”.

2002-06-26 (Various cities)
Animal testing, sabotage at ABN AMRO, action group unknown
– Because ABN AMRO regulates the banking affairs for the BPRC, activists opened a large-scale attack. In Leiden, the ATM was treated with glue at the branch on Breestraat and the web address of the campaign against the BPRC was sprayed. In Utrecht, in all branches, besides the fact that slogans have been sprayed, the cash dispensers are processed with polyurethane foam and glue. In Amsterdam, Arnhem and The Hague, several branches of ABN AMRO also received visits from activists. At the branch on the city ring in Amersfoort a stink bomb has been thrown in, slogans been sprayed and ATMs been disused. The next day the branch was still closed for investigation by the criminal investigation department. In Groningen, the cash dispenser was glued to the Vismarkt and in Nijmegen 4 (not even all branches placed in the table) were filed with puram foam and glue. A window was destroyed and slogans were sprayed.

Intensive farming, liberation at Oranje-ei-farm, ALF
– Activists liberated 23 chickens from the farm on the Oranjeweg. The owner says no chickens are missed because they do not count the chickens every week. However, the slogan “Chickens are also entitled to life” is found on one of the walls of the company. The activists declare that this is an attack on the entire factory farming-industry.

– Activists sent letters to dairy farmers with a poem that should make it clear to farmers that the activists might come over and farmers should pay close attention and stay alert.

– Direct Action For Every Animal! Showed up in Amsterdam. A total of 41 billboards have been destroyed or disappeared and “Circus Renz Rampage” been sprayed with paint in various places. The activists want to send a signal that animals don’t belong in the circus.

– Activists liberated about 9000 minks from cages at the mink farm on the Vale Peelweg. In addition, they have caused vandalism to, among other things, the machines.

– The Animal Liberation Front broke into the research institute in Beekbergen where mink cages were destroyed and breeding data was stolen.

– Many signs of the Great Russian State Circus had a “make-over” or have been destroyed.

– Just like in other cities where the Great Russian State Circus has stored its tents this month, many signs have been destroyed, smeared or covered in Utrecht.

– As if it wasn’t enough, Zwolle also had to deal with actions by activists. Here too, the advertising signs for the circus had a hard time.

Animal testing, sabotage at ABN AMRO, action group unknown
– At a branch of ABN AMRO in Maastricht, activists sprayed slogans against animal suffering. ABN AMRO arranges banking for Europe’s largest primate laboratory animal center; the BPRC. It is not known whether a similar attack has been done three days later or if one of the two dates are incorrect.

– Activists reported they destroyed hundreds of advertising signs of the circus. With this they gave the circus a big economically blow.

Multinationals, sabotage at several companies, GroenFront!
– With a large number of paint bombs, GroenFront! ‘’Greenwashed’’ a dozen multinationals. For example, besides HEMA, Merx, and H&M, McDonalds and ABN AMRO were also smeared.

– For the second time, circus signs of the Great Russian State Circus are removed and/or destroyed.

– The Animal Liberation Front claims the responsibility for smashing some windows of the house of Bert ‘t Hart. The activists state in their claim letter that the employees of the BPRC, where mr. ’t Hart works, he will see no day or night rest.

– At the Nijland BV poultry farm at Wheeweg 57, a truck with trailer has been completely burned down after arson by protesters.

– The Animal Liberation Front liberated 900 minks from breeding at Harfsensesteeg 11a. The activists have also removed all breeding data, so the breeder lost his breeding system and has to start again.

– Animal activists manage to let 6,000 minks escape from the Bosch mink farm on the Groeneweg. In total, 30,000 minks are locked up on this farm.

Animal testing, sabotage at Chiron, ALF
– Chiron BV is doing business with the animal research center “Huntingdon Life Sciences”, as a result of which activists of the ALF decided to smash the windows at the house of Rene van de Kwaak. Worldwide there is a campaign to encourage companies that do business with HLS to break ties with HLS and put the center in isolation.

Animal testing, sabotage at BPRC CEO, BB
– Again, the “Angry Citizens” carried out an action, this time against the CEO of the Biomedical Primate Research Center. Around 03:00 am, two windows of the living room and a large window on the side of the house of R. Bontrop have been smashed. Two locks of the front door as well as the locks of both cars are glued. A tire from a car has been slashed.

Intensive farming, sabotage at butchery, action group unknown
– At the butcher shop, located at the Dorpsstraat in Hellendoorn, two windows have been smashed by activists who want to express their dissatisfaction with the animal industry in this way.

– The Animal Liberation Front not only destroyed a few billboards but also three locks of ‘’circus Renz and friends of the horse show’’ were glued, tires were slashed and wires were cut.

2002-10-26 (Putten)
Clothing, liberation at Minkcon BV, ALF
– Activists of the Animal Liberation Front opened the cages in 5 of the 8 sheds at the Koekamperweg 3. On 20 October the activists already explored the farm and now they decided to take action. For an hour they have been busy removing as much fence as possible. Then they started to open the cages; approximately 13,000 minks have thus been given a chance of freedom.

– In a ”SHAC action night” the ALF held house on the Bezuidenhoutseweg 243, near Marsh. Marsh is the insurer of HLS; where 500 animals die daily for animal testing. Two locks have been glued together, the bell/intercom and a nameplate are sprayed with red paint, a window has been smashed with a butyric sting bomb behind it and butyric acid has been poured through the letterbox. The text ”ALF” has also been applied to the wall. The activists say they are willing to risk their own freedom to put an end to oppression. Just after this action Marsh broke ties with HLS.

– A few hundred thousand euros of damage has been done by the Animal Liberation Front to the Brada slaughterhouse by a fire. An office, as well as a storage, has been burned down. The storage contained organic meat. The activists indicate that as long as there are slaughterhouses, they will continue the war against this daily genocide.

– J. Floor trades from his home at the Kasteeltuin in Houten in fur for the Seattle Fur Exchange. The locks of two doors were glued, the windows of his car were smashed and the windows of his house were shattered with a slingshot. Leftover windows were provided with slogans applied with glass sets.

– Both at the head office of Yamanouchi in Leiderdorp, and at the manager (of Yamanouchi) Peter van Brummelen in Hilversum, a fire was set in protest against the cooperation of the company with the animal testing center Huntingdon Life Sciences. – In the context of the International Animal Rights Gathering, a hundred animal activists visited the mink farm at the Voordijk in Putten. While a part went to the house of the mink breeder, another group moved to the back of the farm where the fence was quickly kicked over. A 100 to 200 minks were released and 50 new cages were destroyed. The house and the car of the breeder, as well as cameras and other equipment were also destroyed. In the end, 49 activists were arrested around the site.

Every year, 250 monkeys die in the BPRC and the activists want this to stop. They also visited the Vrijburgstraat in Voorburg, where J. Heeney lives. This individual works as head of virology at the BPRC and could therefore find his house covered with red paint and discover that some locks were glued.

Brown was targeted. Sabotage also took place at Sankyo (which also cooperates with HLS) in Zwanenburg where 5 employees’ cars were damaged with paint.

– After the fence was broken, activists could join the terrain of the Thomas Cook shop located at Stationsplein 3 in Heerhugowaard. There, 15 large windows were destroyed with glass etching. The two windows of the entrance door were also destroyed and the locks were glued. Two large neon advertising billboards were covered with red paint and ALF slogans were sprayed all over the wall because of ties with animal suffering. A full graffiti spray can was emptied. In addition, 15 litres of blood-red paint was poured over the front and back of the location. According to the activists, there is certainly EUR 10,000 damage done, but they claim that this is just the beginning.

– Four windows of the Maison de Bonneterie fashion store have been smashed in protest against the sale of fur. Hereby, the ALF expresses solidarity with the above-ground action group Respect for Animals, which campaigns against this store. This campaign (including an occupation and a protest with 500 people) has ensured that the sales of fur has dropped by more than half of what it used to be.

– The Animal Rights Militia visited someone that works in a high position at Novartis. The activists were not sure which of the 15 cars in the parking lot belonged to him and so they plastered all cars with 4 litres of paint-stripping under the motive ”just let him explain why others have destroyed their cars thanks to him”. The window of his house was edited with glass etching as well as the window of the car which was parked in front of his house. Two litres of rotting meat juice and two litres of red paint were sprayed through the letterbox and the entire front door painted red so everyone could see who was to blame. Novartis has close ties with the HLS animal testing centre.

– While a top official of Novartis had sex with his wife, activists targeted two luxury BMWs. Red paint and paint-stripping was thrown on the cars. Animal Rights Militia says in a statement that a light sensor is not enough to stop the activists, for that Novartis really should first break ties with HLS.

They indicate that they will carry out the fight against Thomas Cook and the Mauritian monkey trade with the same anger and determination as the comrades have done in prison against their targets.

The station nearby is plastered with slogans like ”do not eat meat” and ”how animal-friendly are you?”. The butcher’s children asked him ” Dad, did you do something wrong?”.

– All minks from an illegal mink farm have been liberated by the A.pple L.iberation F.ront. The action group derives its name from the fact that this farmer also grows apples. The Rentenaar has been under attack for some time by animal rights activists, often protesting in the name of Respect for Animals.

– As a subsidiary of Novartis (which again has close ties with the animal testing centre HLS), Sandoz is also target of animal lovers. At Eric Gorka, an executive of Sandoz, tires of his car are punctured and paint is damaged with paint-stripping. Words such as ”SCUM” and ”ALF” have been sprayed on the house. More slogans could not be sprayed by the activists because the spray can blocked, but they assume the message is clear.

Elsewhere in Zeewolde a fur farm is located, which is owned by namesake Arnold Steijn.

– The ‘Animal Rights One Man Army’ broke the packaging of hundreds of meat and fish products at various supermarkets throughout the Netherlands. By doing this in such way that it’s not immediately noticeable, it is only visible when meat and fish are already rotting. The holes in the packaging speed up this process considerably.

– Around 04.00, A.R.O.M.A. arrived at McDonalds in Deventer where it was visible that some employees were still present. As soon as the last person left the building, a window was smashed. A few minutes later, the same thing was done again. When a security car came on the terrain, A.R.O.M.A decided to leave.

– Because of previous visits the activists knew what could and could not be done to carry out this action as well and safely as possible. In 20 barns the breeding cards were destroyed and the slogan ‘’ALF” is applied everywhere. An excavator has been sabotaged and also safety nets have been destroyed. Holes have been cut in the fence and as many as possible minks have been liberated. A total of 2500 minks were released from their cages. Five minks have been taken to release elsewhere.

– Activists made a bomb threat at Wageningen University. This is done by writing ”Danger Bomb”, ”Warning Bomb” and ”Stay Away” on the building. A window was also smashed. The entire building was closed until about 3 p.m. in the afternoon, when it became clear that no bomb had been placed and so it turned out to be a hoax.
